Safeguarding
All the churches of the Lark Valley and North Bury Team Ministry are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults.
We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officers, (PSOs).
The Diocese of St.Edmundsbury & Ipswich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contact details for the Diocesan Safeguarding Officer (DSO) who advises our Parish Safeguarding Officers (PSOs).

If you believe a child or adult is in immediate danger of harm, or has been harmed, contact the emergency services on 999 and any safeguarding concerns must also be reported to the DSO within 24 hours.
In the case of a concern which is not an emergency, contact the PSO or incumbent, who will then contact the DSO, however if they are unavailable contact the DSO directly.
It may also be prudent to make a referral to Children's Social Care or Adult Social Care in either of the above situations (West Suffolk Council Customer First 0808 800 4005).
